Easy Rx To Protect Doggy Paws!

Protect Your Dogs Paws In Freezing Weather!
Do you live in a cold weather state?
Do you walk your dog in this weather?
Well, make sure you protect their paws from the ice, salt and
chemical de-icers-with this tip...

The tip:
Trim the hair between your dog's toes and paw pads with rounded
scissors so ice and salt won't stick to his or her feet.
When you come inside, simply rinse his paws with warm water.

For more complete protection, slip dog booties over his feet, or use
uninflated balloons if you're in a hurry and no booties are avialable.

That's It- A tip to keep your beloved pet warm and protected this
Winter.

Good Luck!

Puppy Bowl Rxs For Better Health!

                            Watch The Puppy Bowl!
Today is Superbowl Sunday, and millions of people will be watching it.
But, what about those people who aren't interested in football.
Well, if you're a pet lover and a lover of sports, the Animal Planet
network has you in mind.

That's right, the "Puppy bowl" started about 8 yrs. on the Animal
planet channel, and now it's a wildly popular and successful extravaganza
that shows puppies participating in their own Superbowl.
If you think the show is just puppies frolicing and wasting time,
your wrong. How wrong?

Watching puppies, kittens or even fish in a tank has the ability
to improve your health in a number of ways like...
a) Reduce blood pressure.
b) Calm you down- Angry about something? Watch puppies play.

c) Boost moods. Down, depressed? watch kittens having fun and see how quickly
your mood changes...for the better.
d) Build Immune levels. With cold season in full swing, build up immunity
by owning and watching pets frolic.
e) Bounce Back- From a dissapointing situation.
How? Say you don't receive an invite to a co-workers party or wedding,
and now you're feeling rejected. Head home and pet. play with or watch your
cats, dogs or fish and watch the anger and hurt dissipate.
Psychologists have discovered that just thinking of a beloved pet
eases your feelings of rejections after a social rebuff as effectively as
talking to a family member or best friend. And this may explain why pet owners
say they feel good about themselves and are gnerally healthier and happier than
their non-pet owning or pet-hating counterparts.

So, there you have it, there's a lot of benefit to watching 8 hrs. of "Puppy Bowl!"
And one more thing: Almost all of the dogs used in today's Puppy Bowl-
are up for adoption.
Enjoy!

Good Luck!
