Natural Rx For Dog Tags!

                              Keep Dog From Rusting!

Did your dog's ID tags rust? It happens, being outdoors for most of the day,
in all kinds of elements, and they're (the ID tags) are bound to get rusty.
To keep the new dog tags from experiencing a similar fate, do the following...

Get a clean cloth and some car wax, (yes car wax), now apply a thin coat of car
wax to the metal plates, let the car wax dry and then attach them to FiFi or Fido.
After doing this, a simple touchup (new car wax) about every two months is
all that's necessary to keep the tags looking new and shiny.

Good Luck!

Calming Rxs For Your Dog!

Calm Your Dog This Fourth of July!

The Fourth of July is days away, and that means grilling, lemonade,
swimming, sunning and fireworks.
Your kids may love the fireworks, but your dogs absolutely hate them.
Due to their highly sensitive hearing, many dogs tremble and quiver
at the first round of the fireworks.

If this is your dog, and you want to put an end to it,
use the calming technique that's been around for centuries.

The calming technique: Acupressure.

Used in Asian countries
for hundreds of yrs. massaging certain pressure points can
work on dogs just as well as they do on humans.
To calm a dog this Fourth...Use your thumb and forefinger to gently
stroke his ear from base to to tip for 30 secs. then switch sides and
do the same thing. Massaging the ears stimulates sensitive nerve endings
that trigger the release of feel-good, anxiety-easing endorphins.

And if your dog won't sit still long enough for the ear massage,

play some relaxing classical music. It also helps calm your dog down.
A relaxing ear massage and some classical music, now that's a good
time.

Good Luck!
