Soothing Rx For A Doggie Cough!

                    Stop The Endless Coughing!

Does your dog or (dogs) visit a "dog park?" Or does your dog
go to "Doggie Daycare?"
Well, if you're dog is a frequent visitor to the dog park or A

a stay-at-home dog, he or she may wind up with something
called "Kennel Cough" what is it?

A dry, non-stop cough that irritates your dogs' windpipes.
So, how do you get rid of it?
Pick up some wild cherry bark tea bags at your health-food store
or your local supermarket.

Boil some water (1 cup) , and place one tea bag in
a mug and then pour in the water, let the bag steep for a min.

or two and then put in some honey. (2 tbsps.)
Let the tea and honey cool, and then pour it over their food, (preferably
dry). Repeat this process as often as needed.

And why wild cherry bark?
Cherry bark's antiseptic qualities will help fix the infection and
the honey eases the irritation.
That's it- let's hope this puts an to "kennel cough!"

Good Luck!

Curing Bad Breaths In Dogs!

                       Helping Fido's Breath!

There's no getting around it, a lot of dogs have bad breath.
It may be diet, dental woes, an undetected illness, etc.
And giving them a breath mint or mouthwash may not be a
wise decision.

So, what does work?
Well, some vets and animal experts recommended plain yogurt,
(it may work for humans) but dogs and their fragile insides may
just throw it up or dispose of it out the other end and leave floors
and carpeting a mess.
No, just head to your supermarket or produce stand and pick up
some parsley, (fresh) rinse it off, dry it and then chop a tsp.
and place it  inside their wet food or on the bottom of their dry food.

Why parsley?
It's a dark green food and that means it has chlorophyll, an antibacterial
that helps eliminate odor-causing bacteria that take up residence on
the food deposits in your dog's mouth.

Another fun fact about parsley: It was rumored that popular singer
Frank Sinatra (old blue eyes) loved parsley. He asked his staff to place
some cut up fresh parsley in a bowl, along with a cut up clove of garlic,
and topped with olive oil. No chips or M&Ms for Mr. Sinatra.
So, if you were reluctant to get too close to your dog, now you can,

thanks to the tip listed above.

Good Luck!
