stress and the new reports say that going through stressful levels for
yrs and yrs may raise your risk of Alzheimer's.

Curing Bad Breaths In Dogs!

                       Helping Fido's Breath!

There's no getting around it, a lot of dogs have bad breath.
It may be diet, dental woes, an undetected illness, etc.
And giving them a breath mint or mouthwash may not be a
wise decision.

So, what does work?
Well, some vets and animal experts recommended plain yogurt,
(it may work for humans) but dogs and their fragile insides may
just throw it up or dispose of it out the other end and leave floors
and carpeting a mess.
No, just head to your supermarket or produce stand and pick up
some parsley, (fresh) rinse it off, dry it and then chop a tsp.
and place it  inside their wet food or on the bottom of their dry food.

Why parsley?
It's a dark green food and that means it has chlorophyll, an antibacterial
that helps eliminate odor-causing bacteria that take up residence on
the food deposits in your dog's mouth.

Another fun fact about parsley: It was rumored that popular singer
Frank Sinatra (old blue eyes) loved parsley. He asked his staff to place
some cut up fresh parsley in a bowl, along with a cut up clove of garlic,
and topped with olive oil. No chips or M&Ms for Mr. Sinatra.
So, if you were reluctant to get too close to your dog, now you can,

thanks to the tip listed above.

Good Luck!

                          Ward Off Those Hairballs!

The endless grooming and pampering sessions don't
seem to make a difference when it comes to hairballs.
But there is something that may work and it's a food.

The Food?
Butter. Yes butter.
Once a week, rub a tsp. of butter on his or her front paw.
Lured by the scent, he or she will quickly lick it off.
And the purpose of the butter?
Compounds in the butter will coat the fur she or he is bound to ingest
and it (the butter) will lubricate their GI tract, helping the hair
move through their system much more easily.

Good Luck!

Music Rx To Calm Down Anxious Dogs!

                                Helping Dogs Calm Down!

A dog that barks at every little thing can be quite annoying.
Also annoying- a dog that doesn't sit still or has a little too much
energy.

Well, believe it or not, the cure is music.
What type of music? Classical music!
It's been found to be so relaxing that dogs may even fall asleep to it.

The researchers who discovered this solution, tested all kinds of music.
And if you're wondering what type of music was worse for dogs?
Heavy metal.

It made the dogs irritable, agitated and unable to sit still.

So, if this is your dog- stop all the cooing, baby talk, begging
and bribing with treats,  and just break out some Beethoven or
Mozart.

One more thing- the researchers say this tip may also work
whenever dogs hear a siren or on the 4th of July.

Good Luck!
