Homemade Alternative To The Dog Collar!
Has your dog had surgery? How about stitches on a certain part
of his or her body?
Well, the doctor will usually place a cone, aka an "Elizabethan collar"
on your dog to stop him (or her) from biting the wound or the stitches.
But, what if you or your dog doesn't want the collar or cone around their
neck?
Try the low-cost tip from a woman who had this same problem.
The tip:
Take a small (child size) sweatshirt and cut off the hood and sleeves,
slip it on your pet, zip it up and sit back and relax.
And when you want to change the bandage or check on the wound,
just unzip the sweatshirt and check it.
That's it- a simple, low-cost and more appealing alternative
to the cone aka the Elizabethan collar.

Cats and Sleep!
The sight of a cat in your bed snuggling up with you may
look like a picture-perfect postcard, but it can be dangerous.
To get your cat or kitty to sleep in his or her own bed, do
the following...
About 20 to 30 mins. before bed-
Place a towel (an old clean towel you no longer use) in the dryer
for a few mins. then wrap the towel around your body
(or lie on it) for a few mins, more.
Remove the towel from the dryer and place it on the floor
or special bed where your cat sleeps, and gently maneuver
the cat to that spot.
Detecting your scent and the warmth of the towel,
will allow both your cat and you to get a peaceful,
uninterrupted night of sleep.
