Combing A Pet's Fur!
When you comb your dog or cat's fur do you get shocked?
Well, it's Winter and the dry indoor air creates static electricity.
To prevent getting shocked in the future, avoid brushing your pet
when he or she is lying on a synthetic surface (like many rugs and
wall-to-wall carpets), which hold onto static.
Do the following from now on, have him or her stand on a 100% cotton bath
mat, natural-fiber rug or a hardwood floor during the combing sessions.
