Healing With Petroleum Jelly!
If you read our post about Tyra Banks' favorite way to keep her
skin youthful, then you know it's Petroleum Jelly!
(Read it at RedCarpetRxs.blogspot.com)
Well now, America's oldest and cheapest moisturizer can help your
pooch, how? By healing his or her damaged paws that take a beating
in the Winter and Summer.
Cracked paws due to overuse can be quite painful, but thanks to
vaseline-he or she may not have to suffer any longer.
For quick relief, apply a small amount to each paw, then use your
fingertips to gently massage the vaseline into the pads.
Thanks to the mineral oil and paraffin in the vaseline, your pooch's
paws will be lubricated and start healing from all of the walking and
running that they do.
Repeat once a week to keep their paws well moisturized.
Another tip: After applying the vaseline, I'd confine him or her
to their "special area" so they won't get vaseline all over the rest
of the house.
Good Luck!
